Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions to the GavelSight Service operated by GavelSight LLC (Florida). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

Cancel Anytime

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your subscription remains active and you keep full access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not lock you into contracts.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee (First Subscription)

If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, request a refund within 30 days of your initial paid charge and we will refund that charge in full. This guarantee applies once per customer, to the first paid subscription only.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly plans are billed in advance for each month. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access through the end of that paid month. Outside the 30-day satisfaction guarantee above, monthly fees already charged are non-refundable and partial months are not prorated — but you will not be charged again after cancellation.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual plans are billed in advance for twelve months at a discounted rate. Outside the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term once that window passes; cancellation stops the next annual renewal and you retain access through the end of the paid term. If a refund is issued at our discretion, it will be prorated for unused full months net of any annual discount already applied.

Free Tier

The free tier carries no charge and therefore has nothing to refund.

How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] from the email on your account, stating your account and the charge. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us first — we resolve legitimate billing issues quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of the account pending resolution.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your charge governs that charge. Material changes are posted here with an updated effective date.
